Install, configure, and support network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls from Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet to ensure secure and reliable communication. Handle firewall migrations, including replacing Cisco firewalls with Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls, by preparing detailed step-by-step implementation plans (MOPs). Work with routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP to ensure proper data flow and network connectivity between different locations. Coordinate with internet providers and data center teams for setting up and troubleshooting network connections, cabling, and hardware installations at Equinix and DF Data Centers. Use Cisco ACI to manage data center networking and applied VXLAN and EVPN technologies to improve network segmentation and scalability. Automate repetitive tasks such as device configuration and backups using Ansible and Python scripts to reduce manual work and increase efficiency. Work under supervision. Travel and/or Relocation to various unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.
